What You Will Be Doing
- 3+ years’ experience of working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques
- You are passionate about developing apps that are both eye-catching and intuitive
- You have excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers, or delivering a functional demo
- Design, build and deploy high-quality cross-browser advanced web app features
- All content is dynamically rendered, so focus is on efficient code to render data and forms based on JSON data representations
- Create visually appealing user experiences user-friendly design and clear navigation
- Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards (HTML5, CSS3, JSON, WCAG, …)
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages especially native JavaScript
- Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, OAuth, etc.)
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, test procedures and documentation
What You Need for this Position
- Build Products using HTML5/CSS/JavaScript
- Must have: Angular.js, Angular 2 (now called Angular8)
- Experience with React is helpful
- Code and Deploy Applications in a Cross-Platform, Cross-Browser Environment
- Solid Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Accessible and Responsive Design and Web User Interface Design (UI)
- Knowledgeable of REST-Based API and JSON (and optionally XML) data payloads
- Experience working with visual element creation (e.g., SVG)
- Knowledge of other web technologies such as PHP, MySQL, SSO, Node, is a plus
