What You Will Be Doing
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process. Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Support current, and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program; monitor and schedule individual pay actions; recommend, plan, and implement pay structure revisions.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Maintain employee benefits programs & directing the processing of benefit claims
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal, Provincial and Local requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings (if required)
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
What You Need for this Position
  • Work experience with a Software Consulting Company
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian & Provincial labour laws and HR Best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of Laws Against Sexual Harassment
